The Panalba winter dining room favors the style of a farmhouse kitchen, complete with Aga cooker. The summer dining room has separate tables and is a more airy space to enjoy your breakfast. But whatever the season, we pride ourselves in making all of our guests feel like part of the family, and enjoy telling lots of anecdotes and jokes over breakfast. But after breakfast is finished, what then? Panalba is situated in the higher part of the town, over looking the hustle and bustle, yet is still only 400 meters from the town center, and within easy reach of all five golden beaches. The famous Tate Gallery is within five minutes walk, as well as numerous pubs and restaurants. There's plenty of places to browse and explore. St Ives is well known for some of the best surfing in Europe. It is also an ideal spot for windsurfing, sailing, angling, wreck and reef diving, and snorkeling. There's even small power boats for hire. Just ask us or tell us what you wish to do, and we will be happy to advise you. Porthminster Water Sports Porthminster Water Sports is run by us on Porthminster beach. We are a sited small craft and equipment hire shop. We are ideally suited to the individual tourist, as well as larger groups seeking a fun day out. We have professional lifeguards on duty throughout the summer. We can also offer basic tuition and supervision.
